- I’m fairly certain I trot this out every December but this truly is the best smelling fresh cut Christmas tree candle there is. I’ve tried a number of them none are as good. You don’t even have to light it – it smells good just sitting there on your counter
- How pretty is this tea set? I would get a cup and saucer in each color and have a tea party
- Speaking of tea – The best places for high tea in the US. Or if you want something the bay area – the 14 posh places for Afternoon Tea in San Francisco. I just had a great idea for a blog post series…the best places in THE WORLD to have tea. I’m on it! I just need a sponsor….
- Every year my sister Kate spends about two thousand hours in the kitchen (beaten only by the pounds of butter she uses) and bakes a fabulous assortment of Christmas cookies that she gives to every family member. This being said I rarely bake during the holiday season. But I may make an exception for these pretty snowflake Linzer cookies. Linzer cookies have a soft spot in my heart because my youngest and I used to make them. I need to fish out my snowflake cookie cutter
Yay! We made it to Friday! I’m still in Paso Robles having the time of my life. The older I get the less time I seem to have to connect with friends. I have been cherishing these past few days. There is something to be said about just being able to hang out with old friends – there is no drama, no effort. Just great conversation and catching up.
I’m heading back home today after a leisurely breakfast and then this weekend – who knows! There is no rain in sight so maybe I’ll try to talk Rick into a Saturday drive to Tiburon for lunch and exploring.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
