Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

Par Avion

Gift

And off it goes.  Marie ~  I was a day behind shipping this out but it’s on its way now!  I hope you enjoy it.

I love wrapping presents.  Well, let me clarify I love the creative side, picking out wrapping, bows and other embellisments but I don’t like the actual part that involves folding precision corners and tape.  I was going for a Kimono type look but then slapped an Easter graphic on top which kind of took it in another direction.

The labels on the shipping box came from Papaya! She has delicious cards, journals and prints.  I also got the white pen from her.  If you do scrapbooking and want a really opaque white pen this is the best I’ve ever found.  Truth be told I even borrowed the idea for the label placement and curlicues from her.  She is a creative genius.

This was fun – I’ll have to do it every 100th post.

Hello! Your blog is wonderful. I hope to return often.

Stop by the “back porch” sometime.

Ooh! I love your wrapped packages. So pretty. I checked out Papaya, and what a great site that is.

Hi Andrea! I’m so proud of myself – I feel like I’ve solved a mystery, lol. The beautiful garden statue didn’t register with me but I knew I had just read about the elephant eye a few days ago and thought it odd that two people would mention that. I thought Oh, I love goats! and then I thought, geeez – how many people can there be who are fraidy-scared of butterflies?! Wait a minute – it can’t possibly be that I know this person, in the sense that anyone knows anyone else online. I can’t believe that in my frenzy of decorating blogs that I’ve newly discovered, I’ve found yours and it’s lovely. You’re probably wondering who I am – DonnaD from that Joisy place at the beauty place. And I see that you like a lot of the blogs that I like too, love actually. I really don’t think I need to buy magazines anymore (one of my other passions) when I can look at everyone’s awesome pictures online. I can’t wait to see your garden pics. Sorry to take up so much room but I was just so excited to see you.

Andrea, I got the package yesterday and it was so beautifully wrapped that I didn’t want to open it. My kids couldn’t stand the suspense, though, so open it we did! I love the beautiful dish, lacy hanky, candle, vintage cards, and the Godiva baby chic! Thanks so much! Marie
