Pale Blooms for a Winter’s Day ◊ never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly ◊ Untitled ◊ Teacup On Doiley 2
Happy Friday! This week really flew by for me. Since my days of leisure are coming to an end they are whizzing by a bit too quickly. I have a slight feeling of panic that I’m out of time to do all those projects I was planning on tackling while I was out of work. My office never did get painted….
I’m not complaining, mind you. I cannot wait to have a routine back and to feel like I’m contributing something. I know I am not my job but I’ve always identified that way and have felt a bit adrift these past few months.
I’m still not feeling the favorites lately. I may need to rethink my posting schedule and perhaps go to a monthly favorites format rather than trying to post them weekly (or weakly, as the case may be…). Posting maybe a bit sporadic as I get used to my new routine.
We will have guests for the next few days. My mother in law is coming to stay for a couple of days and then on Sunday a friend is coming to visit for a couple of days. I need to do some menu planning. It is supposed to be in the 90’s this weekend so I’m thinking salads will be served. Although I did see a recipe for a Caprese tart with roasted tomatoes that looks delicious. Maybe I’ll serve that tonight with a Caesar salad.
I hope you have a splendid weekend and if you are in Barry’s path, hunker down and stay safe!
