- I plan on fully embracing the rest of Autumn and not rush too quickly into Christmas. Thanksgiving is such a lovely holiday. It's hasn't been over commercialized or hyped up like Christmas. For me, Thanksgiving is just a day to relax and really enjoy your loved ones. In addition to the great food I love being in charge of the tablescape. Isn't this Thanksgiving table just lovely? I absolutely love the collection of turkey plates. The rest of the table is perfection in its simplicity. I'm so on that.
- I have this Staub Cast Iron Pumpkin and aside from being a great cookware piece it is a great addition to your Autumn table. If you aren't into the orange, rustic colors it also comes in white. Which I am seriously lusting over now….
- Look at this adorable AirBnB in Portland, Oregon. One of my favorite nieces lives in Portland and I'm thinking I just might need to go visit her.
- I am so looking forward to this Daniel Day Lewis movie: Phantom Thread. I do love a DDL movie.
We have just been having the perfect Autumn weather – oh sure it was a bit hot earlier in the week but now it is time to pull out the sweaters and all the soup recipes and just hunker in. We have a no plans kind of weekend but we might head up to the Napa area to offer our support and patronage. My friend went up there last weekend and said the wineries and restaurants are just so thankful for any kind of business. There is no sign of any smoke or damage – just establishments hoping people will come back.
