I snapped a couple of quick pictures while we were at Kath's booth yesterday. It was hard to get good, clear pictures because of the lighting.
Kath is in the process of clearing out some older inventory to make room for her typical shabby chic kind of look.
Having a booth at an antique mall seems like it would be a fun enterprise. I can the amount of work that goes into it by watching Kath. She is constantly replenishing her stock, rearranging, moving things in, taking things out (the Panchenko machine, for example, moved out today).
If I had a booth it would be a combination of linens and old photographs and other ephemera. There isn't a good linen booth at this particular antique mall. I think it would do well. You can certainly find linens but you have to dig through drawers and baskets to find them and they seem kind of like an after thought.
I might have to think about this…
As you can see we decided against the leaded window for the chicken palais. It was slightly warped and there would be no way to install it without the risk of breaking the glass. And I wasn't sure about the the lead. The chickens like to peck at everything. I may try my hand at some faux leaded glass for the palais instead.
