- Our lilac season is so fleeting. We got one bouquet because the hail and rain beat up our one and only lilac bush. This is the second best thing to fresh lilacs.
- Okay I'm biased since they are my little ladies but aren't they adorable. That's Rick talking in the background and me sounding like Beevis. Or is is Butthead? Heh. Heh heh.
Every year it seems you need to grab the lilacs FAST before the rain beats them up. Such a shame, they are my favorite.

On the lilac front – I miss them so. We used to gather them by the bunches when I lived in Minnesota. Here in AZ – there isn’t one in sight. . . but a candle might just help out a lot in the “I miss them so” department. . . thanks for the idea!
