It's 94 degrees here this afternoon. It is supposed to be 105 tomorrow. What is up with that? What happened to lovely, moderate temperatures of 74 degrees? That is a civilized temperature.
Does anyone remember my post last year about the wine glasses I was searching for? I found these glasses at Anthropologie and they perfectly fit the bill except I didn't feel like spending $15 a piece for them. So I just looked at them longingly and passed them by. I happened to go back in this week and they had them on the clearance table so I snapped up eight of them.
They are the right size (short enough to fit in the dishwasher), not spindly and they have an etched design. And if you come over I'll pour you a glass of wine and you can sit on the deck with me and listen to the sprinkers going.
I honestly don’t think Spring exists anymore–we’ve had about two Springlike days and now it’s going to get hot.

I love those wine glasses! I’m with you on the heat! Lauren and I went to Santa Cruz today because we thought it would be cooler but it was hot over there too! It’s supposed to cool down later in the week so that’s good!
Your wine glasses are lovely. And isn’t it nice when you find those special somethings on sale! I was lucky too today, when I was looking for egg cups to display the Ukranian eggs I made at Easter. I found four brass ones at Goodwill for $1.99!

I’m on my way so don’t drink all the wine. Would you like me to bring something to munch on while we are drinking? I love the glasses. I’ve been looking for some new ones too. I don’t like the ones that are so tall and spindly. I got some for a gift and I’ve already broken two. Bad girl!!
I’ve been shivering all day (temps in the 50s) but Saturday it was in the 90s and HUMID. Gotta love spring, you never know what’s gonna happen.
