Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

Deck the halls

Isn’t this a cute idea – it’s from French General.  I think an ivory version with all mother of pearl buttons, jewels and pearls would be really pretty.  You could do a few of varying heights for a mantel display.

I finally got my hands on the new Victoria magazine and I admit to being a bit surprised that it was a Christmas issue.  Not sure why that should surprise me but it did.  I was heartned to see they pretty much just picked up where they left off with the same format.

And would you just look at this:

From Room Service Home – a glittered pedestal!  It’s starting to feel like Christmas…

Oh Victoria Mag is out again, I heard they were bringing it back, I still have copies from the late 80’s when it first came out. One of my all time favorite magazines!

I agree – The Christmas tree would be elegant in white …and it would be a great button project too! (using all or mostly Mother of Pearl buttons)

Ilove the button tree! And an all glittery white/crystal/pearly version would be all you.
Where did you find Victoria? Is it available anywhere, like the grocery stores?

Great button tree, you could do so much with that idea, thanks for sharing.

That button tree is lovely! I’m glad Victoria is back, too!

Instagram post 2340945580020536121_13069943 Guess who is getting some Grandma time this weekend! Rick thought this was a little over the top but I just wanted to fulfill my Holiday fairy tent fantasies.
Instagram post 2340488496363792013_13069943 I ran out of day (and daylight) to take a real photo so you get a pithy saying instead. Happy weekend! You are all dear to me. Just thought you should know that.
