My PC is on the road to recovery. It's not 100% yet but we've avoided last rites for the moment.
I am a voracious blog reader and I check in with my Google Reader half a dozen times a day. So it was kind of fun, after being offline for a few days, to log in and see 50 blog entries I needed to catch up with.
Since I wasn't wiling away the hours on the internet I did manage to do a little decorating.
My benefactress gave me an assortment of vintage ornaments and I fashioned them into a wreath. The pictures aren't really showing it but I lightly sprayed a green, faux wreath with white paint and then sprayed it with silver glitter to give it a frosty appearance. But in the pictures it is reading grey.
Speaking of frosty we had snow! And I missed it! I was down at my Dad's and of course the one time this decade it decides to snow I am not at home. All I got was iced over windows that I had to scrape off with a credit card. We are not equipped for the cold here. I just saw a guy driving down the street with his head stuck out the window so he could see. I should have told him the credit card trick.
More decorating to come this weekend. I bought a little pre-lit tree for the table in the living room (Hi Rick!) and I'm going to set it up this week. I'm thinking of a bird theme….
