Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

The Rogue’s gallery

Picture_018

Okay they aren’t really rogues – they are my beloved.  Each and every one of them.   Well there are a few pictures of people that I don’t actually know but I’ve made up little stories for them so it’s practically like they are my beloved.

Picture_021

I like them all massed together – I think they lose something when they are scattered about – especially the smaller ones.   After dusting them and moving back onto the table today I realized that I need to add some – certain loved ones aren’t represented well enough.

I think people like coming over and seeing themselves as part of the collection.

Is this not the cutest face in the entire world?

That is my youngest, Evan, taken about 19 years ago.  He didn’t realize that you had to blow the bubbles – he thought you just squooshed up your lips and it would happen.

I will be updating very sporadically for the next week or so – I’m heading to Colorado Springs for work next week and I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready for the trip.  I’m taking my camera so I hope to post pictures throughout the week.

Those all look so nice together. I have a bunch of silver frames too that I usually keep together like that but recently wanted a change so I split the up. That picture of your son is so adorable!

Oh – is this the table that you just redid? It looks beautiful!! My brother has a table in his entryway with a huge collection of family photos. I wish I had the room for a table like that.

The table is back! Yay! Now your living room will look like itself again. That photo of Evan is one of my all time favorites. It makes me laugh everytime I see it.
    Travel safe.

I do the same thing. I think the pictures “speak” louder when grouped together. And the Frames, wow.

I am so far behind on reading your blog! I love the table, and your “rogue’s gallery” is wonderful. My MIL used to refer to her wall of family photos the same way, so I understand the feeling of love behind it. All of your frames are gorgeous, and go together very well.
