Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

Fall has finally arrived

Picture_185

We are a little slow around here.  This picture was taken this morning, looking out the dining room window at my Dad’s house.  This tree is a brilliant red and glowy orange and when the light is just so the entire livingroom is infused with a golden glow from the reflection.

And yes, those are roses still blooming under that Maple tree.  Gotta love living in California.  The land of no seasons.

We’ve moved from fall long ago into winter with 8 inches of snow yesterday. I envy you California girls most of the year!

I still have a few roses out back also, I love the weather in these warmer climates. The tress are lovely, we don’t get much color down here.

Okay do not be offended but this is why I do not miss the Bay Area. I remember in October driving to half moon bay in search of some gray weather, sooo sick of sun. I am weird !!! Enjoy the fall xoxoxo Clarice

Where do you live??? You are right; things are a little behind there… it seems to me that we, here in the NW are in the mist of winter…:)

Instagram post 2340945580020536121_13069943 Guess who is getting some Grandma time this weekend! Rick thought this was a little over the top but I just wanted to fulfill my Holiday fairy tent fantasies.
Instagram post 2340488496363792013_13069943 I ran out of day (and daylight) to take a real photo so you get a pithy saying instead. Happy weekend! You are all dear to me. Just thought you should know that.
