Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

Santa’s Workshop

Picture_191

Actually I’m not certain I’d be allowed in Santa’s workshop.  I’m sure he has stringent rules about tidying as you go.  Something I am not a fan of, as you can clearly see.

I’m making Christmas cards this year – very similar to my Halloween Party invitations.  I just love that scallopy circle cut out.

Cook’s Illustrated The New Best Recipe is excellent for pressing glued together bits, kind of like pressing flowers.

I made two prototypes to see what color scheme I wanted to go with.  I’m not really a red and green Christmas kind of girl.  I like creams, whites, silver, sagey greens.

But I’m thinking definitely the red on this one.  You can’t tell in the pictures but there is sparkly ‘snow’ on the rooftops.

Okay – now to go tidy up.

Those are extremely cute. I’m more of a sagey cream girl too but I think the red card is more pronounced and festive.

I like these, so cute. I think the sage one feels kinda sumery rather than christmassy though I like the sage green color as well.

They are darling! I’m a ‘sage’ fan too, but I like the red version ~ warm and vibrant. Nice job and very clever.

GORGEOUS!! Thesea re wonderful! i actually like the sage becuase it is more inovative with the colors, but it needs a touch mor eof holiday to it, to turn it away from being to summery. But I don’t know what to suggest!

Those are fabulous! I can’t believe how creative you are with paper. If you ever lose your day job….
