Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

Wintery hues

Greengarden1

Greengate

I discovered and fell in love with Greengate about two years ago.  It's certainly an unrequited love since they are a Swedish company and I can't read anything on their website.

I did manage to stumble across their online catalog which can be downloaded in a pdf format (you can even select which pages you want to download).   Makes it easier to long for things when you can really see the items in detail

What initially attracted me to Greengate is their soft, clear colors against white.  Very clean yet romantic.  They still have that but they are also featuring this lovely palette of pale taupes, greys and silvers which I'm really liking for Winter.

Greengate

I haven't changed my mantel decorations since last January.  I think it's time to pull off some of the white and incorporate more mercury glass and tarnished silver.  Let's see what I can come up with and I'll post a before and after.

I'll also post pictures of our big project this weekend.  Refinishing the deck – I bet you can hardly wait.

Can we not petition them to come to North America? I do think there is a boutique somewhere in NYC that sells a few of their items. I love the cosy line they do for winter.

There are a few blogs that I follow and can not read. The photography and vignettes are just so beautiful though. I love the soft colors.

But I love your mantel, I wish it was my mantel, if I had a mantel…
Ok, I’m sure I will love the new mantel, too. (sigh)

    I love your mantel, too.

I’m so glad to have plans for the weekend now-following your deck refinishing will be pretty exciting! (I kid, but actually, if that were happening here, I would be thrilled.)

I LOVE Greengate…I actually had found a few English stores you could buy some of their stuff from. They have a fresh look that I so admire. I adore a Scandavian look. Thanks for the inspiration. cherry
