Normally I don't go for the brights but I was drawn to these cheerful, Springy green buttons.
I don't know if my outlook is just brighter or if I'm just longing for Spring.
Sara as soon as it warms up and the chicks start laying eggs let's have a celebratory cocktail party up at the Cottage. I'll send out the invitations.
Back a few years ago I saw a spread in Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion (a moment of silence while we mourn its passing…………) of a woman that collected vintage sand pails. They were so colorful and time-worn (= loved) and just stood out against the backdrop of white in the rest of the room. I decided right then and there I was going to collect them myself. Until I priced them. Okay maybe not.
Then Kelly gave me this vintage salt water taffy tin and I've spent the morning, pouring over my saved issues of MEHC to see if I could find that article again.
Thank you for all the movie set/decoration comments. I have a number of movies to add to my Netflix queue.

I always love buttons! Thank you for sharing. ~Kelly

love the buttons. LOVE the tin.
Oh, I remember that story of the beach pails! I haven’t saved very many of my MEHC issues, and now I’m poring over them and wondering if I can find a few more back issues on Ebay or something.
I love green, so your buttons just lit up my screen. And the tin is lovely!
Oh my lord, those invites are PERFECT, di dyou just ge the one? We could scan it to make more of our own. What a FAB idea. The cochins are HUGE. I will post today about it.
LOVE the green buttons. And yes, mourning. How I miss my MEHC. Missed it even more when the MSL came instead. Boo. Hoo. I’m glad I’ve saved all my issues…will dig and see if I can find that one…I remember it too.
