I don't have to be the least bit creative. I saw these Easter favors on Heather Bullard's blog and decided to do them for all my assorted nieces, nephews, young cousins and my own two sons.
We are doing our traditional Easter Brunch at my Dad's house and I wanted to bring a little something for all the kids. Keep in mind the youngest is 16 years old and the oldest is 37. But who doesn't like getting something on Easter?
I remember when I was about 22 years old and showing up at my parent's house for Easter Brunch and, oh this is painful, there was no Easter Basket for me. My mother figured that we were old enough, and probably dieting anyway, to forgo the usual Easter basket of chocolate bunnies, jelly beans and, my personal favorite, malted milk eggs.
We all had Easter baskets the next year, I can tell you that.
My kids will probably get them until they are 60 years old.

Oh Andrea, you are putting me on a guilt trip! I am not doing Easter baskets for my children this year. Mind you they are 27, 24 and 17 yo! You have a very generous heart to make the sweet chocolate bunnies for your family!
Happy Easter.

Hey my 21 year old still hunts for eggs. (Mostly because dad still enjoys hiding them) What a cool Auntie you are.

Oh, I would love to still get an Easter basket. . . even now! Although I have had to get my own supply of Easter candy for. . . we’ll just say ‘lots’ of years now . . . my Easter treat has been getting flowers, which I must admit I love!
I love your little treats (& the delivery basket!) & know that all the ‘kids’ will love you for them! Happy Easter!
xo, Bren

LOL! My kids will get them forever, too.
I love the treats in your picture and I’m copying! Thanks heather and Andrea for giving me an idea!

I made one for my husband, and he’s 61!

Oh, those are so pretty! My girls came home yesterday from college. They each had a solid chocolate bunny waiting for them.

There is no age limit when it comes to chocolate.

You are never too old for an Easter treat. I love your favors. And you are right about borrowing ideas from other bloggers. What would we do without each other?

That is funny! We had that same thing happen the year that my mom thought that her adult children were all too old for treats in our Christmas stockings. We protested loudly! In the middle of the night, one of my brothers filled up the stockings with bottles of beer and other “goodies” from my parents’ kitchen and wine rack. The following year, she went back to the regular stockings for all of us!
