Under a Blue Moon

Decor, cooking, organization, all the pretty things

palais de poulet

1
Redwood Stone

I've been looking for chicken coop inspiration.  In order to give Rick some guidance when he builds me my chicken palace.

2
The Posh Shed

I seem to be drawn to gothic details.  Not sure about the color of this one.  Maybe in a greyed green.

3
Hooked on Houses

Ooh – this might be my favorite.  Love the detail on the door and the bird house is kind of a cute, if not ironic, detail.

4
Gardensheds

This one is nice and simple.  Love the detail of the roof.

Okay this last one might be over the top, even for me.  Even though I still maintain that I need a conservatory some where on the property.

Chicken palaces! But they’ll just poop everywhere! 🙂 Nah only kidding – go for it! But…if you have foxes nearby please do think ‘fox proof’ – that is something you really need to worry about… and it isn’t easy…no it isn’t…xxx

I say build the conservatory and let the birds live in your house!

I like #3 the best but those chickens are going to be living in a nicer house than mine! How are they going to open those doors? Now that I want to see.

Oh the first on is my favorite, your eggs would probably even taste better coming out of that one. The last one I love, but I would have to kick the chickens out so i coudl have my our private conservatory to have tea and relax with a really good book. They are all beautiful! ~LeslieMichele

Oooh, I like #1 but number 3 would blend in on our property much better. Great picks!!
