Palace progress. I think there might be more paint on me today, than on the coop. I just have the primer coat on so far. I still need to paint the inside of the coop and the back side. I also have to crawl under the coop and paint that area.
That ought to be fun. Not.
I will hopefully finish primering today and then I can get the finish coat on the run part so Rick can put the screen up.
I'm thinking about growing a climbing rose up that front section. Or some kind of climbing, flowering plant. I'm partial to pink and may do Cecille Brunner. It can scramble up the roof if it wants.
With all the rain and mild temps we've been having the roses and pansies along the front of the house are doing fabulously. As soon as the coop is done we can sit back and enjoy it.

Love the look of your coop – and I think your chickies would love to have flowers nearby, too. Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished and they have moved in.

Oh! I am so envious of your great chicken coop. You folks are doing a very nice job. I think a Cecille Brunner rose will look wonderful. They truly do put on a nice show in quick order. I can’t wait to see your happy chickies in their new palace.

I didn’t know you are making a chicken palace (too)! Yours is beautiful and I love the design.
