Happy Autumnal Equinox Eve! I'm celebrating early. It actually takes place on Wednesday the 22nd at 11:09pm but I'll probably be asleep by then so I thought I'd better bring it up now.
I am so very ready. I want sweaters and Honey Crisp apples and pumpkin spiced candles and hot mugs of milky tea and yellow and orange leaves blanketing the lawn. Ooh and crackling fires in the fireplace.
Yep. I'm ready.

I’m so with you. It is supposed to be 97 today in Louisville and I want to cry. Our normal high this time of year is 78. :-
Maybe if I celebrate early, like yourself, autumn will come! Celebrate it and it will come! ha ha!

Sounds good! We’re still in the lower 80s here in southern VA, but the nights have been cool for the past week or so. I’m already drinking my hot tea and burning my Apple Cider candle!

I’m so with you on the being ready for autumn. . . I’m even planning a trip to Minnesota in the next week. . . just so I get my share of autumn colors, apples from the apple farm & I even get to break out my sweaters! (. . . which wouldn’t get to see the light of day until late November. . . if I’m lucky here in Arizona.) So I say “welcome!” to autumn as well (. . . & I’m with you on giving it a few extra hours!)

Well Fudge ~ Sorry but I am not with you on this. 🙁
I want it to be warm warm warm EVERY DAY, because last year the long dreary time after that, here in Michigan almost killed me. Slush has no redeeming qualities believe you me! So okay to Autumn .. but ONLY if it does not follow with the W word. Shhh. Please do not say it aloud. Thank you.

Oh yes!…to all of that! Can’t wait.
