We are in full-on Halloween Party invite mode. This particular invitation is more time consuming than others past because of the amount of stamping and then drying that has to take place.
I always make a few proto-types to help figure out my assembly plan and I finally had to scrap the idea of embossing these. That is where it kept falling apart.
Huh? What are you calling me?
The problem with doing Halloween invitations (about 40 of them will be assembled and sent out) is that then I am done done done for the rest of the year and can't bear the idea of making Christmas cards.
Oh well – the invitations are fun to come up with and put together.
Even if it does take up an entire weekend and all the counter space.
Actually it took up more than the weekend since I didn't have time on Sunday to finish them. I hope to finish them tonight and I'll have the finished product to share.
In other news – the chickens (and us) are getting used to free-ranging. They tend to stick together and move slowly around the house. Belle likes to stay close to keep a watchful eye on them. Rick thinks she is protecting them but I, being more cynical, think that she is just waiting for one to get separated from the flock so she can make her move.
They are not the least bit intimidated by her.

What a production line you have set up in your kitchen! I know the invites will be memorable, as always.

The key word is: Yet. The are not intimidated by her YET.
Kitties are sneaky, and will look all innocent until they POUNCE!
Beware chickies!
I’m with you on this one Belle is biding her time. 😉
