I am sitting in the Sutter Hospital waiting room. Nothing alarming. Rick is having an MRI under anesthesia and I'm hanging out in the waiting room.
Why are all waiting rooms just so dismal?
I do thank them for the free WIFI. So you get an up to the minute update on my life. I know – try to contain yourself.
Rick is one of those eternally fit people. He has been working out since he was in his early 20's. He has had three knee surgeries, two wrist surgeries, elbow surgery and shoulder surgery. This MRI is to check out his other shoulder.
I would say this is proof positive that working out doesn't pay off in the long run. We might as well just sit on the coach and watch TV.
Well that's all I got. Thanks for sitting here with me.
Update: Diagnosis – torn rotator cuff.

Phew, glad to get that news. He’ll be bionic soon right?

Does he come with a warranty?

Good luck to Rick!
Enjoy that great waiting room ambience.

Weird how all waiting rooms have that same furniture-immediately recognizable, without even starting to read. And wifi is good-last week at a FL hospital with my inlaws, I couldn’t believe they didn’t have it.
Your conclusions about exercising vs. being a couch potato made me giggle.
Hope Rick recovers quickly and well.

Ouch, torn rotator cuff…painful. Hope he’s feeling better soon! I could have sworn that was a pic of “my” doctor’s office. LOL! I loved the couch potato comment. =)

I also laughed at your couch potato comment, but when I reread it I noticed that you had typed “We might as well just sit on the COACH,” which is WAY FUNNIER!
Sorry for Rick… will he need surgery?
