Things don't always go according to plan. In my head I am going to bake these adorable cookies, decorate them and then photograph them so they are just scrumptious looking.
Before you click on the link to the recipe and inspiration for today's post please let me tell you a little bit about these cookies.
They are called Lemon Crisps but they aren't exactly crispy – they are kind of chewy. Now the source of this recipe even said that hers turned out chewy too so I'm not feeling too discouraged about that.
I am kind of discouraged about my decorating skills.
And my cookie staging skills.

Umm, I think they look mighty tasty and your lines are cute. I’d even eat the twin blob ones as long as you iced them. The cajun ones…not so much.
LOL… loved your “I could only go up from there” comment. Not sure when you baked these, but if it was yesterday (Thursday), I was having that kind of day too. The kind where NOTHING is going right. I finally decided not to do anything… it was best for all involved!
Can’t speak for the taste… but the top pic of cookies look yummy to me!
