We had to turn our heat on this week. First time this season. We also swapped out our bedding for something cozier and warmer. It sure makes it hard to pull yourself from bed in the morning when it is so comfy and warm.
I'm relishing my quiet November weekends. You know, before the mad rush of the C-word starts up in earnest. There is something just so relaxing and restorative with letting the days unfold as they please with nothing taxing or strenuous on the agenda. I think we might go to an architectural salvage yard to look for an interesting old door for our pantry but other than that we have no plans.
The only other thing planned is to head over to my Dad's tonight and make dinner for him and my sister Mary who is visiting for a month and make her a birthday dinner! Happy Birthday Mary! I love you! Hope you like Chicken Milanese…..

I’m not sure I could live with that many plants, but I’d love to live in that loft! He also obviously doesn’t have cats! My five would have every plant in there nibbled if not completely eaten. Love the globe and tray. I have a few things from H & M too, but most of them I stole from my daughters when they didn’t want them anymore. I get a lot of clothes that way! I’ve lost a lot of weight and weigh much less than either of them now and that was definitely one of the perks! 🙂
Can you imagine how much time you would spend watering? I have to keep most of my plants up high, out of the cats reach.
