• My dad loves hot cross buns and normally I just pick some up for him from the bakery but this year I actually tried my hand at making them.  I used this recipe from Jo Cooks and they turned out great.  But HUGE!  Maybe divide the dough into more buns than the recipe indicates.

• It’s about time to switch out our bedding for something more lightweight and I’m eyeing this medaillion quilt from Target in grey.   We have this rug in our bedroom and I think it would look really lovely.

My posting schedule has been a little off this week.  I’ve had a number of interviews the past couple of weeks and all the prep work takes up a lot of time.  Keep your fingers crossed for me!  I think two of the positions I have a good chance of getting.   It’s really time for me to be back at work.

We are going to take a drive up to Sutter Creek tomorrow.  We haven’t been there in a quite some time.  We used to go there fairly often when we lived closer.  There were a lot of charming little shops and a nice restaurants.  Then the economy tanked and all the little shops closed one after the other.  I’ve heard that things are picking up again so we are going to check it out.
